They Came, They Ran, They Conquered...

Well, running day came and went.  This tribe of 9 raised their support, came out game ready and got the job done!  Dressed in their IBC REC shirts and running shoes, they arrived only to be dumped on by a rain storm.  After about 20 minutes, the clouds parted and a giant rainbow filled the sky.  They kids were pumped and ready.  They lined, up, took off, and sure enough, another set back...Hannah went down...She scraped up her knee and elbow pretty good and let everyone know just how much it hurt.  Ella was crying for accidentally tripping her, which made Hannah toughen up and go on with the run.
The kids, Tara, Kelly and I made it around the 1/4 mile loop 52 times, raising $468 to finish our total of $1200 for the well.
Thanks to all who supported this ministry opportunity!  You will forever be a part of bringing clean water to a village in India along with the good news of Jesus Christ!  Praise God!

Sulley Kids Running For India...

Running For India
Friday, May 3rd at The Dupree Lakes Club House

This year, our church (Idlewild Baptist Church) has pledged to fund the building of 100 wells in India.  My parents Jay and Erin Sullenger had the privilege of traveling to India last June and saw first hand the condition of the water people are drinking.  It is dirty and making the people sick.  They visited a slum where kids our age were living in small huts in the mud, and in very poor conditions.
We, along with our friends the Knouses are running Friday, May 3rd to help raise money to build a well.  We have raised $800 so far and need only $400 more to complete the goal of $1200.  This will allow a team through the Cooperative Outreach of India to bring clean water to a village there.
Please consider supporting us by pledging a dollar amount per .3 mi lap.  You can pledge open ended, or put a cap on the amount.
We are super excited to help kids have clean water to drink, and are now more grateful for the endless supply of clean water we have.
Thank you,

Team Sullenger
