Running For India
Friday, May 3rd at The Dupree Lakes Club House
This year, our church (Idlewild Baptist Church ) has pledged to fund the building of 100 wells in India . My parents
Jay and Erin Sullenger had the privilege of traveling to India last June and saw first hand the condition of the
water people are drinking. It is dirty
and making the people sick. They visited
a slum where kids our age were living in small huts in the mud, and in very
poor conditions.
We, along with our friends
the Knouses are running Friday, May 3rd to help raise money to build
a well. We have raised $800 so far and
need only $400
more to complete the goal of $1200. This
will allow a team through the Cooperative Outreach of India to bring clean
water to a village there.
Please consider supporting us
by pledging a dollar amount per .3 mi lap.
You can pledge open ended, or put a cap on the amount.
We are super excited to help
kids have clean water to drink, and are now more grateful for the endless
supply of clean water we have.
Thank you,
Team Sullenger
