Well, running day came and went. This tribe of 9 raised their support, came out game ready and got the job done! Dressed in their IBC REC shirts and running shoes, they arrived only to be dumped on by a rain storm. After about 20 minutes, the clouds parted and a giant rainbow filled the sky. They kids were pumped and ready. They lined, up, took off, and sure enough, another set back...Hannah went down...She scraped up her knee and elbow pretty good and let everyone know just how much it hurt. Ella was crying for accidentally tripping her, which made Hannah toughen up and go on with the run.
The kids, Tara, Kelly and I made it around the 1/4 mile loop 52 times, raising $468 to finish our total of $1200 for the well.
